Tides of Vengeance Part 2 is going live in just two days! What can you expect?
Up first is the new and exciting raid, Battle of Dazar’alor! This raid will be an encounter that is unique for each faction. The Alliance will be fighting in the center of the Zandalari empire. While the Horde jumps to defend the city from the onslaught; the best part of this new raid is you will have the option to play through the opposite faction’s viewpoint. I have never seen a raid quite like this and I’m super excited to dig into it, but more on that later. What else is coming with the patch?
PvP and Mythic Keystone Dungeons season are finally rolling over to Season 2! With the new PvP season starting, players can look forward to their rewards for the previous season, including some pretty sweet mounts. Also with weekly caches, you’ll now earn a Quartermaster’s Coin, which is collected to upgrade this season’s Sinister Gladiator set. For dungeons, the affix sounds pretty sweet to be completely honest and I can’t wait to see it in action. It is called Reaping, and Bwonsamdi is ready to bring back the spirits of enemies that you’ve already killed and give them a final chance to destroy you.
Azerite armor is getting an update as well–a fifth ring that has brand new traits, these epic Azerite pieces are from PvP, the new raid, Daily Emissaries, and the keystone vendor. These will also help boost you to the new max ilvl 425. The level of gear will be adjusted as follows, from dungeons: normal-340, heroic-355, & mythic-370. During the first week of Season 2, the rewards are capped at Mythic 6 (ilvl 385), these will be the same for PvP.
I’ll be updating you all soon with what to expect more in-depth for the Battle of Dazar’alor. How excited are you for new content? Is your raid team prepared to dominate this new raid? Leave some comments below and let us know how you feel.
