BoA item question

I searched throughout the forums, found some fun facts about BoA items, but I still need one question answered, if anybody can help me out.

I recently made a 39 rogue (or rather, am in the process of leveling, 33 atm) on another realm. Now, BoA = Binds on ACCOUNT. Does that mean that I would somehow be able to send the item to a character on the same account, but on another realm? My guess would be no, and I wouldn't be surprised if I were right there. BUT, can I send the item to an alt, and transfer that character to the new realm, then send them to my rogue? This seems like it would make sense, as the item is not leaving the account, and I'm paying Blizzard to send over all of my items on the character. Otherwise, looks like I might have to wait until I can make a DK on my rogue's realm, and level him in my spare time.

EDIT: As of right now, it seems that you're able to transfer them over on an alt, but the WoW forums for me are being really buggy and keep giving me errors and what not, so this is just what i can read from the little google descriptions, lol. Any confirmation would be beyond appreciated.
