Introduction

Hello my friends, I am writing this guide because I am in the process of creating my next Twink. I am known by some as Corporal Minimalism, 19 Semi Twink Rogue on the Battlegroup Shadowburn (Officially BG 9). When creating my rogue I really messed up quite a bit(less than 100XP from Dinging to 20) and with my new twink i want to be the best I could be. That is why I am writing this guide. I have read many guides, which have helped me pick how I want to twink my priest, and hopefully I will be presenting all the information I have gathered in a nice format. I will include a breakdown of almost everything to make your future (priest in mind) twink. This will be my first official guide, so please try to be minimal on the flaming.

Priest Basics

Stamina 1 Stamina = 10 Health Points
Intellect 1 Intellect = 15 Mana Points, 0.055% Spell Critical Strike Chance at Level 19
Agility 1 Agility = 2 Armor
Strength
Spirit
Dodge 12 Dodge Rating = 2% Dodge at Level 19
Hit Rating Spell Hit Rating cap is 5% (Exact +Hit Needed is 11) at Level 19

Allowable Equipment: Cloth

Allowable Weapons: One-Handed Maces, Daggers, Staves, Wands

1. Selecting Your Race SYR

Available Races
Human
Dwarf
Night Elf
Draenei

Each 'Race' Gives Different Racial Abilities Including Priest-Only Racials

Human -

Racial Ability:
Every Man For Himself - Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character. This effect shares a cooldown with other similar effects.
Cast Time - Instant Ability
Cooldown - 2 Minutes
Comment - This Racial is invaluable because it gives an extra trinket slot. It eliminates the need to buy an Insignia of the Alliance. As a Human twink Priest you will be able to gain an extra 2% Dodge from a second Arena Grand Master.

Passive Racial:
The Human Spirit - Spirit is increased by 3%.
Comment - Good for Priests because it helps to maximize mana regeneration. This also allows the player to maybe invest in other stats a little bit if they so choose.

Passive Racial:
Perception - Increases your Stealth detection.
Comment - Really good for the 19's bracket because most twinks are Rogues.

Passive Racial:
Diplomacy - Increases all Reputations gains by 10%.
Comment - Doesn't really matter.

Passive Racial:
Sword Specialization - Expertise with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 3.
Comment - Doesn't really matter.

Passive Racial:
Mace Specialization - Expertise with Maces and Two-Handed Maces increased by 3.
Comment - Doesn't really matter.

Priest-Only Racial Ability:
Desperate Prayer - Instantly heals the caster for 134 to 170. (Gains 42.86% of +Spell Power Bonus)
Cast Time - Instant Ability
Cooldown - 10 Minutes
Comment - With the gains from +healing, it is an invaluable spell and may save your life from time to time.

Comments: Overall I feel that Humans are the top race for a level 19 Alliance Priest.

Dwarf
Racial Ability:
Stoneform - While active, grants immunity to Bleed, Poison, and Disease effects. In addition, Armor increases by 10%. Lasts 8 sec.
Cast Time - Instant
Cooldown - 3 Minutes
Comment - Very good when fighting Hunters(Serpent Sting), Warriors(Rend), and Rogues(Garrote). Because Priests can't dispel poisons, this becomes pretty useful. Use this when your about to bandage so you don't take damage while restoring your health.

Here is a macro:
/cast Stone Form
/stopcasting
/cast [target=PlayerName] Heavy Runecloth Bandage

Racial Ability:
Find Treasure - Allows the dwarf to sense nearby treasure, making it appear on the minimap. Lasts until cancelled.
Cast Time - Instant
Comment - Doesn't really matter.

Passive Racial:
Gun Specialization - Your chance to critically hit with Guns is increased by 1%.
Comment - Useless for a Priest.

Passive Racial:
Frost Resistance - Reduces the chance you will be hit by Frost spells by 2%.
Comment - Can be helpful if you fight a Frost mage.

Priest-Only Racial Ability:
Desperate Prayer - Instantly heals the caster for 134 to 170. (Gains 42.86% of +Spell Power Bonus)
Cast Time - Instant Ability
Cooldown - 10 Minutes
Comment - With the gains from +healing, it is an invaluable spell and may save your life from time to time.

Comment: Dwarfs are a smart choice to pick but I would rather be a Human.

Night Elf
Racial Ability:
Shadowmeld - Activate to slip into the shadows, reducing the chance for enemies to detect your presence. Lasts until cancelled or upon moving. Any threat is restored versus enemies still in combat upon cancellation of this effect.
Cast Time - Instant
Cooldown - 2 Minutes
Comment - Doesn't allow to drink while activated. Pulls you out of combat so you may drink, but you become visible. Very useful to avoid a huge spellcast such as a CC (Fear) or a huge damaging spell like Pyroblast, even a ranged ability like aimed shot. Do not use Shadowmeld if you have a DoT, Bleed, or Poison on you.

Passive Racial:
Quickness - Dodge chance increased by 1%.
Comment - Not bad especially when fighting all those rogues.

Passive Racial:
Wisp Spirit - Transform into a wisp upon death, increasing speed by 50%.
Comment - Doesn't really matter.

Passive Racial:
Nature Resistance - Reduces the chance you will be hit by Nature spells by 2%.
Comment - Can be good against Shamans and Balance Druids.

Priest-Only Racial Ability:
Starshards - Rains starshards down on the enemy target's head, causing 84 Arcane damage over 6 sec. (Gains 171.43% of +Spell Power Bonus)
Cast Time - Channeled (Instant)
Range - 30 Yards
Mana Cost - Rank 1 is 50 Mana
Spell Class - Arcane
Comment - Really good for Shadow/Smite Priests. If your silenced from a kick or a pummel you could use this to assault your target while silenced. Its pretty Over Powered if you have high Spell Power.

Comment: Night Elf's are good if you want to be Shadow.

Draenei:
Racial Ability:
Gift of the Naaru - Heals the target for 320(+Spell Power) damage over 15 seconds.
Cast Time - 1.5 Sedonds
Range - 40 Yards
Cooldown - 3 Minutes
Spell Class - Holy
Comment - Not castable in Shadowform. If you get kicked while casting a heal, you will not be able to cast this. You suffer 0% knockback from taking damage when casting this spell.

*Quick Facts*
Has a 100% +healing coefficient.

Is affected by both Amplify Magic and Dampen Magic.

0 Mana Points Cost

Is affected by the following Talents

Priest: Silent Resolve, Healing Focus, Spiritual Healing

Shaman: Healing Grace, Purification

Tick is every 3 Seconds over 15 Seconds

Level 1 5 10 15
Amount Healed 50 110 185 260

Passive Racial:
Gemcutting - Jewelcrafting skill increased by 5.
Comment - Useless for a 19 Twink.

Passive Racial:
Heroic Presence - Increases chance to hit with all spells and attacks by 1% for you and all party members within 30 yards.
Comment - Useful since it affects all party members, allows you to invest other stats elsewhere if you so choose.

Passive Racial:
Shadow Resistance - Reduces the chance you will be hit by Shadow spells by 2%.
Comment - Can be good against Warlocks and Shadow Priests.

Priest-Only Racial Ability:
Symbol of Hope - Greatly increases the morale of party memebers, giving them 78 mana every 5 seconds. Effect lasts 15 seconds.
Cast Time - Instant
Cooldown - 5 Minutes
Comment - Good for PvP in general. Use when out of mana. Dispellable.

Comment: I feel Draenei are lacking in proper abilities for PvP. There are better races to choose from.

2. Gear List

Jadyn's (39 Priest) Wise Words:

"Gearing is a continuum between heavy stats and heavy power. Whether it's healing or dmg is irrelevent. If you go too far stats, you may survive for quite a while, but you will have a reduced effect, and trouble killing or healing. Priests' damage and longevity (both survivability and efficiency) are very dependant on gear. Survivability, and how much you need varies from player to player, and game to game. It is often a good idea to have some different pieces for certain slots that one can switch out as needed."

I have put together my personal list of 'best' level 19 Twink items for a Priest, including the Enchants I would use.

*Note* In order to use Leg Enchants, you must put them on a BoE Item.

This gear guide does not include Engineering Items because, although some of them may technically be more efficient over other choices, the abilities learned from Gather Professions, far out-weigh the efficiency of Engineering items.

The format I used is as follows:

Take Wiley's Note to Gryan Stoutmantle in Westfall. Wiley's Note (Provided)

Description:
What I am about to tell you could cost me my life. The Defias gang is up to something big. Last I heard they were working in conjunction with various gnolls, kobolds and even goblins.

Take this note to Stoutmantle. It explains as much as I know on the subject.

I wonder what Wiley meant when he mentioned the Stonemasons. Perhaps that was a slip of tongue. Could the Defias gang be related to the Stonemasons? Only one man would know for sure: Mathias Shaw, head of SI:7. Show him Wiley's Note and see if he has anything to add to this growing mystery. If you have trouble finding Shaw, check the Barracks in Old Town.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Defias Brotherhood

Objective -
Take Shaw's report to Gryan Stoutmantle in Westfall. Shaw's Report (Provided)

Description:
The Stonemasons' Guild was run by a man named Edwin VanCleef. VanCleef was responsible for rebuilding Stormwind after the orcs razed it in the First War. Apparently, VanCleef and his men were unhappy with their treatment by the King after the reconstruction was complete. That just might explain a thing or two.

I have written a more detailed account for your Master in Westfall. Take this to him at once!

Progress
Did Master Shaw shed any light on things?

Completion
Edwin VanCleef. . .I know the name well. To think that a man so industrious and talented could turn into such a scoundrel unnerves me. I'll need further proof before I believe this.

and kill him to loot A Mysterious Message:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Defias Brotherhood

Objective -
Track down the Defias Messenger in Westfall and bring his message to Stoutmantle. A Mysterious Message

Description:
We need to discover the location of the Defias hideout. <name>, my scout reports that a Defias Messenger has been seen on the roads between Moonbrook, the Gold Coast Quarry and the Jangolode Mine. I want you to capture him. If he resists, kill him and bring me whatever he is carrying.

Progress
<name>, were you able to gather any information? Did you locate the messenger?

This is indeed firm proof that VanCleef is in charge. Now all we need to know is where the Defias gang is hiding out.

We've had a stroke of luck while you were gone. We captured a thief trying to steal Saldean's wagon. He has promised to lead us to the hideout in exchange for his life. I want you to defend the traitor so he can reveal the hideout. Return to me once you have uncovered the location.

Quest - (Sharable)
Ziz Fizziks

Objective -
Speak with Ziz Fizziks in Windshear Crag.

Start: Sputtervalve

Description:
The Venture Company stole many of the best goblin minds, but from time to time, we get the opportunity to steal some back.

A while ago, the Venture Company outfit in the Stonetalon Mountains hired Gerenzo Wrenchwhistle--a gnome! Their other engineer, Ziz Fizziks, was so taken aback by this, he pleaded with me to find him new employment with the Tinkers' Union. I set him on a few tasks, but he might need help.

Maybe you could look in on him for me? He's stationed at the western edge of Windshear Crag.

End: Ziz Fizziks

Completion
I thought those Venture Company higher-ups were slave drivers, but then I met Sputtervalve, the cruelest of them all!

Ha! Though it's better than being out of a job, I suppose... Or worse, working with that Gerenzo. If you're here to help, I've got something for you to do.

Quest - (Sharable)
Super Reaper 6000

Objective -
Get the Super Reaper 6000 Blueprints for Ziz Fizziks in the Stonetalon Mountains. Super Reaper 6000 Blueprints

Start: Ziz Fizziks

Description:
Terrible what the Venture Company has done here, eh? What were they thinking? Goblin company hiring a gnome!

Lucky for me, Sputtervalve knows a genius when he sees one. Hired me just after I'd been kicked out!

Tells me they built some enormous woodcutting machine, and Sput' wants me to steal the plans for him. Unfortunately, Gerenzo--bloody gnome--wants me dead on sight... maybe you could steal the plans for me? You should be able to find them on one of their operators.

Progress
Did you find those plans? I'm eager to impress the new boss. Hopefully, once he's convinced of my loyalty--well, as much as he can be convinced... goblin's honor, you know?--he'll feel comfortable making use of my rather impressive genius.

End: Ziz Fizziks

Completion
Hey, is that what I think it is? Great!

Now, let's see. Ugh... how am I supposed to understand this stuff... can't figure out the way gnomes think. Lemme tell you, I'm surprised they could build the wheel, let alone those flying machines they like so much.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Further Instructions

Objective -
Deliver the Sealed Envelope to Sputtervalve in the Barrens. Sealed Envelope (Provided)

Start: Ziz Fizziks

Description:
This envelope has all the information I was able to snatch as they booted me out the door... Venture Company internal documents, some manuals, technical things... Oh, and of course the Super Reaper 6000 blueprints.

Sputtervalve has taken up residence at Ratchet in the Barrens. Shouldn't have much trouble finding him, he's a little green fellow.

Progress
Hello there! How can I help you?

End: Sputtervalve

Completion
Fizziks, eh? Can't say I trust him, but this information seems good enough. What I wouldn't give to have the Venture Company out of my hair.

They do come up with some good machines though... I can't deny that we've benefited from using some of the improvements they've devised.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 825 Experience Points

Reputation Awarded:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need to give Sputtervalve the Sealed Envelope to continue the Quest Chain:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Further Instructions

Objective -
Bring the new orders to Ziz Fizziks in the Stonetalon Mountains.

Start: Sputtervalve

Description:
The matter of this gnome that has been hired by the Venture Company has caused a bit of a stir in Undermine. The trade princes do not approve of Razdunk's consorting with this Gerenzo.

Riddlevox has asked me to take care of the problem, and I'm sure he was instructed to do so by one or more of the trade princes. Of course, the Director didn't tell me that. Let's just say I have a hunch.

Whatever the case, Gerenzo must be removed, and it would be a fitting test to have Fizziks take care of him.

End: Ziz Fizziks

Completion
Eliminate Gerenzo? Now there is a prospect that I have no objections to.

Gnomes are bad enough as it is, but what I learned about Gerenzo only makes it worse. Apparently, he was one of the head engineers in Gnomeregan, where he was working on their secret project--we could never infiltrate Dun Morogh well enough to find out specific details. It was a failure. Our reports say that whatever it was literally exploded in their faces.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 1100 Experience Points

Reputation Awarded:
75 Reputation with Ratchet
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sputtervalve reads them and issues some orders, you must give these to Ziz Fizziks to get the last Quest:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Gerenzo Wrenchwhistle

Objective -
Bring Gerenzo Wrenchwhistle's Mechanical Arm to Ziz Fizziks in the Stonetalon Mountains. Gerenzo's Mechanical Arm

Start: Ziz Fizziks

Description:
I met Gerenzo once, but let me tell you, he's not easy on the eyes. His flesh looks like it's rotting away, and he's grafted metal and gears onto his body, replaced some of his limbs with mechanical ones.

Northeast of here, far above Cragpool Lake, up near the water wheel is where Gerenzo watches over the entire site. There's no way I could fight my way up there, not to mention take on Gerenzo... But you look like you might be able to make it.

If you kill him for me, I'll make it worth your while!

Progress
Sputtervalve will want some sort of proof that Gerenzo's dead. I think his mechanical arm will probably do.

End: Ziz Fizziks

Completion
Look at that thing... it'd take a gnome to come up with something like that. I can't understand why you'd cut off an arm, and replace it with that, when you could just keep both arms and add a third!

Gnomes, I tell you...

At least Gerenzo's out of commission. Hopefully that'll be enough proof, and Sputtervalve will assign me to one of the Tinkers' Union workshops in Gadgetzan or maybe even Undermine.

You will be able to choose one of these rewards:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Unsent Letter

Objective -
Deliver the Letter to the City Architect to Baros Alexston in Stormwind. An Unsent Letter (Provided)

Description:
Searching Edwin VanCleef's person, you discover, among other things, an unsent letter. It is addressed to Baros Alexston, the City Architect of Stormwind, City Hall, Cathedral Square.

It appears to be recently written and sealed.

Progress
Yes? Is there something I can help you with?

Completion
Edwin VanCleef, you say? I would as much expect a letter from my dead grandmother... So you've killed him then? Pardon me in saying, but I'm somewhat surprised. He was a peerless fighter in his younger years. Let's see what he finds the need to write to me about after so many years.

<Baros peruses the letter.>

Edwin... I see the years haven't changed you a bit, an idealist as ever, and a romantic. He doesn't care who he hurts, <name>. Revenge has consumed him. But then, I'm not sure I can blame him.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Bazil Thredd

Objective -
Speak with Warden Thelwater in the Stockade.

Description:
VanCleef and I were members of the Stonemasons Guild. Our main project was to rebuild Stormwind after the War.

When we had finished our duties, we were cheated. The nobles refused to pay us for our work. Some of the more senior of the Stonemasons were offered governmental jobs, but VanCleef refused it out of loyalty to all the Stonemasons. He led a riot and left the city, swearing revenge.

His lieutenant, Bazil Thredd, might know more about VanCleef's plans. He's being held prisoner in the Stockade.

Completion
What in the Light do you want? Can't you see we have a crisis here?

Bazil Thredd?! Why would you want to speak with that bastard? How am I supposed to know you're not one of his cronies, come down to help with his bloody riot? If all the blasted cells weren't open, I might throw you in one for a while!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Stockade Riots

Objective -
Kill Bazil Thredd and bring his head back to Warden Thelwater at the Stockade. Head of Bazil Thredd

Description:
Let's get one thing straight, <name>: I don't trust you. But, with the situation as it is, you probably won't make a difference.

So here's how it's going to be: go down there and have your talk with Thredd. If you're really on our side, then kill him and bring me his head when the job's done. And if it turns out you're on his side, and don't come out... when we find you, you'll die along with the rest of the maggots.

Progress
Either you bring me Thredd's head, or I'll take yours, understand, <name>?

Completion
Without Thredd to lead them, hopefully the riots will be more controllable. We shall see.

I must say, after a half hour, I hardly expected you to come out, but it seems I misjudged you.

I'd guess, then, that you didn't get much useful information out of him? But I know a thing or two that might be of interest to you about Thredd's activities.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Curious Visitor

Objective -
Bring the Sealed Description of Thredd's Visitor to Baros Alexston in Stormwind. Sealed Description of Thredd's Visitor (Provided)

Description:
During the first years of Thredd's imprisonment, he never had any visitors. I figured that he was no longer of use to the Brotherhood, so they abandoned him.

Anyway, a few months ago, that all changed; he started to get regular visits... once, maybe twice a week. It was a strange man--the quiet type. I had my suspicions, but all his papers checked out.

His documents claimed his name was Maelik; here's his description. I don't think he'll be coming to visit Thredd anymore.

Progress
Yes, <name>? What have you found?

Completion
Hmm. Maelik? No, the name doesn't sound familiar and neither does this description. But it could be anybody! A former Stonemason, one of the Defias Brotherhood... Though if he is as well connected as Thelwater suggests, perhaps someone else might recognize him. Let me think.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Shadow of the Past

Objective -
Bring the Sealed Description of Thredd's Visitor to Master Mathias Shaw in Stormwind. Sealed Description of Thredd's Visitor (Provided)

Description:
I really haven't a clue, <name>. There is someone else who might be able to help you, and it so happens that he owes me a favor for--well, let's not get into that. Master Mathias Shaw of SI:7 can be found in the barracks in Old Town. Shaw has his thumb on most of the shady, or underhanded dealings of the city.

If anyone knows, it'd be him.

Progress
Greetings. Of what service can I be to you, <class>?

Completion
What? What's this? Yes, I think I do know who this man is, but his name is not Maelik. Assassins wear many names and many masks, discarding them as they lose their usefulness. Another alias known to be used by this man is Marzon; though even that is surely not his true name.

Regardless, he is an assassin and I know a good deal about him.

Marzon is currently under the employ of Lord Gregor Lescovar, a lord of shady reputation, even given the corruption of the nobility of Stormwind.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next you must give that same letter to:
Master Mathias Shaw <Leader of SI:7> - 78.5, 70.7 - SI:7, Stormwind City, Eastern Kingdoms

He then gives you the following quest:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Look to an Old Friend

Objective -
Speak to Elling Trias in Stormwind.

Description:
That Marzon would be contacting a member of the Defias and have ties to Lescovar...

Having killed VanCleef and Thredd, it would be hard to see Lescovar brought to proper justice, as your evidence is nothing without their testimonies. That is not even considering the fact that Lescovar is a noble and well connected. It effectively makes him above the law.

You'll need other help. I loathe to do so, but there is someone I know that will aid us. You'll find Trias in the Trade District of the city.

Completion
You're kidding? Shaw wants my help again? Of all the nerve...

The Defias Brotherhood, you say? Well, you're certainly the bearer of wonderful news, aren't you? Next you're going to tell me that Deathwing is still alive and attacking the city.

All right, tell me everything from the beginning. And don't leave out something you think might not be important. I need to know it all.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 250 Experience Points
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mathias Shaw tells you to speak with:
Elling Trias <Master of Cheese> - 66.2, 74.3 Stormwind City

who is across from the Tabard Vendor building. Elling gives you the next quest in this chain:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Infiltrating the Castle

Objective -
Speak to Tyrion in Stormwind Castle.

Description:
Hmm, an interesting tale, and not one to be taken lightly. Yeah, I can help you, but what you need to do is divvy out a form of justice that's not... legal, if you're to see this through to the end.

Lescovar and Marzon need to be dealt with, and swiftly. Do you think you're capable of such a thing?

You decide. If so, then make haste to the castle and find an old friend of mine, a gnome named Tyrion. He's been watching Lescovar now for a couple weeks. He should be able to help you end this.

Completion
What the...?! Don't sneak up on me like that! And keep your voice down! What in the name of the Shadow are you doing sneakin' up on me for? Can't you see I'm busy, you daft fool?

What do you mean, what am I doing? I'm waiting for the next Dark Portal to open, what the heck do you think I'm doing? Speak your peace and be off with you... 'fore the guards notice the two of us hiding in the bushes together. I have a reputation to maintain.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 250 Experience Points
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need to speak with:
Tyrion - 73.2, 35.8 - Stormwind Keep, Stormwind City

to continue the quest chain, Purchase 3 Silk Cloth ahead of time for the next quest:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Items of Some Consequence

Objective -
Bring 3 Silk Cloth and 2 of Clara's Fresh Apples to Tyrion in Stormwind. 3 Silk Cloth (3)
2 Clara's Fresh Apple (2)

Description:
Trias wants the timetable pushed up some, huh? Okay, we can do that, but I'm not ready. And know this, I'm doing the hard part, but you're the one that's going to get <his/her> hands dirty, understand? Good.

Okay, I'll need you to get me a few things before I can put my plan into effect. I got the perfect disguise that'll get Spybot past those guards.

Bring me some silk and a couple apples. The silk's up to you, but Clara's little farm right outside the city has the perfect sized apples.

Progress
I've been watching Lescovar for a couple weeks now. Trias has never trusted him, but we didn't suspect he was involved in anything to do with the Defias Brotherhood. We were following leads that tied him to the Twilight's Hammer. Either way, he's become more dangerous than this city can deal with, and that's where we come in.

Get me those items and we can put my plan into effect.

Completion
These will do nicely, <name>. Great job.

I have the rest of the gear I'll need in my pack... thank the Light I just got a tailor friend of mine to make me a silk bag. I was running out of room carrying all my gear around.

Before Spybot heads in, let's get the details set so you know what you have to do.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 625 Experience Points

Reputation Gained:
6 Reputation with Darnassus
6 Reputation with Exodar
6 Reputation with Gnomeregan Exiles
6 Reputation with Ironforge
6 Reputation with Stormwind
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Head to:
Clara Charles - 34.2, 56.2 - Elwynn Forest

house and click the apples on the table. You may need to wait some time for them to spawn. Return to Tyrion to get your next quest:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Attack!

Objective -
Remain in the garden until Lord Gregor Lescovar and Marzon the Silent Blade have had their conversation. Afterwards, kill them both before returning to Elling Trias in Stormwind.

Lord Gregor Lescovar slain
Marzon the Silent Blade slain
Overhear Lescovar and Marzon's Conversation

Description:
After I put on Spybot's disguise, he'll head in to talk to Lescovar. The guards should let him pass no problem.

While you were getting materials for me, I took care of informing Marzon that it was time for him and Lescovar to meet again. I even dropped some false information.

Lescovar will dismiss his guards and wait for Marzon out here in the garden. After you catch wind of talk about the Defias, make your move. You need to kill them both before the guards return! When you're done, speak to Trias.

Completion
So it is done? Good. Thank you greatly for your discretion, <name>. You've proven worthy on more than one count. I'll be sure to keep my eyes on you and your progress within the Alliance.

Be sure to keep your nose clean.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 1900 Experience Points

Reputation Gained:
37 Reputation with Darnassus
37 Reputation with Exodar
37 Reputation with Gnomeregan Exiles
37 Reputation with Ironforge
37 Reputation with Stormwind
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After speaking with Tyrion hide behind the tree that is near him and wait about 3 minutes for Lord Gregor Lescovar to walk to the center of the garden. About a minute after that Marzon the Silent Blade will appear and start to speak with Lord Gregor Lescovar. Wait for their conversation to finish, then when they become flagged, come out and kill them. You may need to abandon and accept the quest a couple times for it to work.

Next Quest is:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
The Head of the Beast

Objective -
Speak to Mathias Shaw in Stormwind.

Description:
Find Shaw in Old Town. Let him know that the Lescovar threat has been dealt with and about your involvement in the Lord's plots against the city. I'm sure he'll be proud to have another hero among Stormwind's citizens.

He'll more than likely send you off to meet with the Prince or some other noble. Don't let it get to your head, <name>. The nobles can think they rule the city all they want, but some things remain out of their hands.

Completion
He is dead, then? Your justice was swift, <name>. I pray to the Light that I never become your quarry!

I mean no criticism, <name>. How could I, being the master of all assassins? But in truth, you have done the people of Stormwind a great service, and for that, I thank you.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 250 Experience Points
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Head to Mathias once again to accept the next quest:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Brotherhood's End

Objective -
Speak with Baros Alexston in Stormwind.

Description:
Ah, I almost forgot. Alexston came while you were away, he wished to speak with you. No doubt he wishes to report the goings-on of the Defias Brotherhood to the nobles.

A bit of advice, <name>: if anyone should ask, I would provide all details but that it was your hand that slew Lescovar. Trust me. I am... acquainted... with the ways of such things.

And as far as Trias goes, well, speak to no one of him... ever... if you can help it.

Completion
It's good to see you, <name>. I have heard that Lord Gregor Lescovar was found dead not long ago.

It would seem that you were successful in your mission. You have my gratitude that you have saved me, and many others, from VanCleef's revenge.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 625 Experience Points

Reputation Gained:
6 Reputation with Darnassus
6 Reputation with Exodar
6 Reputation with Gnomeregan Exiles
6 Reputation with Ironforge
6 Reputation with Stormwind
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to Baros Alexston one final time to get the last quest in the chain:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
An Audience with the King

Objective -
Deliver Baros Alexston's report on the Defias Brotherhood to King Varian Wrynn in Stormwind Keep. Report on the Defias Brotherhood (Provided)

Description:
I have prepared a report for the King. I believe you should be the one to deliver it to him, along with an account of your findings. Do not worry, there is no doubt that he will commend you for doing your duty to the people of Stormwind.

Your audience is scheduled soon, so you'd best hurry, it's a bit of a ways to Stormwind Keep.

Progress
<name>, yes? I was informed by Baros Alexston that you would be coming. I must say, I am most interested in what you have to say.

Completion
You are to be commended for the service you have done for Stormwind, <name>. If VanCleef had been successful in his machinations, he would no doubt have done considerable harm to the kingdom--something we must obviously avoid.

Take this, <class>, as a token of the King's appreciation. I am only sorry he cannot present it to you himself, but he is away on a diplomatic mission and shall not return for some time.

You will Receive: Seal of Wrynn

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 3800 Experience Points

Reputation Gained:
125 Reputation with Darnassus
125 Reputation with Exodar
125 Reputation with Gnomeregan Exiles
125 Reputation with Ironforge
125 Reputation with Stormwind
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally head to:
Lady Katrana Prestor - 77.7, 18.5 - Stormwind Keep, Stormwind City
King Varian Wrynn <King of Stormwind> - 79.9, 38.6 - Stormwind Keep, Stormwind City

and speak with King Varian Wrynn to complete the quest chain and obtain your:

[31] Seal of Wrynn
+3 Strength
+3 Agility
+4 Stamina
+4 Intellect
+3 Spirit

Total Experience Gain:
2900 (In Search of Thaeldrid) - OPTIONAL
3300 (Blackfathom Villainy)
______________________
6200 Experience Points (At Level 18)

Level to start the Quest Chain:
18

Notable NPC's Reference:
Argent Guard Thaelrid <The Argent Dawn> - Found in Blackfathom Depths
Dawnwatcher Selgorm <The Argent Dawn> - 55.9, 24.3 - Darnassus, Craftsmen's Terrace, Kalimdor

***Please Note, you do NOT need to do the Prequisite Quest for Blackfathom Villainy to obtain the Gravestone Scepter, however, I will include it (after Blackfathom Villainy) since technically it is involved with the chain.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
Blackfathom Villainy (Sharable)

Start: Argent Guard Thaelrid

Objective -
Bring the head of Twilight Lord Kelris to Dawnwatcher Selgorm in Darnassus. Head of Kelris

Description:
Strength has left me. Your help is needed!

Long ago this site was a great temple of Elune. But misfortune led to ruin when the corruption of an Old God seeped up from beneath the earth and tainted the sacred Moon Well.

Aku'Mai, servant of the Old God, rose from the waters.

The Twilight's Hammer cultists have allied with the naga to occupy these grounds. The cultists, led by Kelris, sacrifice innocents to Aku'Mai for power.

Slay Kelris and bring his head to Selgorm in Darnassus, <name>, please.

Progress
Time is a precious commodity, <class>.

My role here in Darnassus is to ensure that the Argent Dawn thrives and that the evil forces encroaching upon Kalimdor are thwarted.

State your business quickly or be on your way.

Completion
Kelris has eluded us for quite some time.

It seems as though whenever evil made its presence known in these parts, Kelris had played a role. For some time we considered him dead or missing.

But this makes perfect sense. By ending his reign you have spared the lives of many innocent people.

By the light! To sacrifice someone to a servant of an Old God for one's personal gain is beyond reproachful!

You have done a great deed, <name>. I salute you on behalf of the Argent Dawn.

End: Dawnwatcher Selgorm

Rewards
You will be able to choose one of these rewards:
Gravestone Scepter Arctic Buckler

Money Rewarded:
65 Silver

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 3300 Experience Points

Reputation Gained:
1000 Reputation with Argent Dawn
500 Reputation with Darnassus
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To obtain this quest you will need to head to:
Argent Guard Thaelrid <The Argent Dawn> - Found in Blackfathom Depths

He can be found in the south western alcove, next to the turtle boss. You will need to swim under water to find the alcove.

To complete this quest you must kill the Twilight Lord Kelris boss in Blackfathom Depths. Once you kill him, loot the corpse and turn the quest in to:
Dawnwatcher Selgorm <The Argent Dawn> - 55.9, 24.3 - Darnassus, Craftsmen's Terrace, Kalimdor

__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ______
The Prerequisite Quest that is completely optional is:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quest -
In Search of Thaelrid

Objective -
Seek out Argent Guard Thaelrid in Blackfathom Deeps.

Description:
Many rumors circulate these days about the union of the Twilight's Hammer and the naga in Blackfathom Deeps on the coasts of Ashenvale.

My role here with the Argent Dawn is to collect as much information as I can, so we know when and where help is needed.

It has been weeks now since I sent a scout to check on the activity at Blackfathom Deeps. Argent Guard Thaelrid has not yet reported back.

My other scouts are preoccupied with pressing matters.

Seek out and aid Thaelrid for me, <name>.

Completion
Dawnwatcher Shaedlass was good to send you. There is indeed a wicked plot underway in this corrupted place.

Rewarded Experience Upon Completion: 2900 Experience Points

Reputation Gained:
1000 Reputation with Argent Dawn
500 Reputation with Darnassus
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need to first go to:
Dawnwatcher Selgorm <The Argent Dawn> - 55.9, 24.3 - Darnassus, Craftsmen's Terrace, Kalimdor

to obtain the quest. Then you will need to enter the Blackfathom Depths instance and seek out:
Argent Guard Thaelrid <The Argent Dawn> - Found in Blackfathom Depths
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ______

Other Notes (WoWHead Posters) about These Quests/Gravestone Scepter:

Counts both on the Loremaster of Kalimdor and the total quests achievements

Please note that the quest Blackfathom Villiany can be accepted without doing In Search of Thaeldrid and if you do not accept this quest first and do Blackfathom Villiany, In Search of Thaelrid will not be available to you upon completion.

If your a twink and worried about getting too much experience, just get Blackfathom Villainy inside the instance, you do not need to have gotten the first quest to get it so you save 2.4k experience.

Top Crit Range of 86 Damage

This wand has the nice effect of a green and red glow around your character when you are using it and shoots Shadow Bolts for the damage.

Haste affects your gravestone scepter.

5. Glyphs
Here are all the available Glyphs you can use at level 19.

Holy
[Glyph of Renew] Reduces the duration of your Renew by 3 sec. but increases the amount healed each tick by 25%.
[Glyph of Smite] Increases the chance you'll resist spell interruption when casting your Smite spell by 50%.
[Glyph of Dispel Magic] Your Dispel Magic spell also heals your target for 6% of maximum health.

Discipline
[Glyph of Inner Fire] Increases the charges on your Inner Fire spell by 20.
[Glyph of Power Word: Shield] Your Power Word: Shield also heals the target for 20% of the damage absorbed.

Shadow
[Glyph of Fade] Increases the duration and cooldown of your Fade spell by 50%.
[Glyph of Psychic Scream] Increases the duration of your Psychic Scream by 1 sec.
[Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain] Increases the damage done by your Mind Flay spell by 10% when your target is afflicted with Shadow Word: Pain.

Minor Glyphs
[Glyph of Fading] Reduces the mana cost of your Fade spell by 30%.
[Glyph of Fortitude] Reduces the mana cost of your fortitude and Prayer of Fortitude spells by 50%.

At level 19, you may only have 1 Major and 1 Minor Glyph. My choices would be:

Holy - [Glyph of Renew]

Discipline - [Glyph of Power Word: Shield]

Shadow - [Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain]

Minor - [Glyph of Fortitude]

6. Talents

At level 19, you can have a total of 10 talent points to spend. There are three 'Specializations' to put points in, and if you put 5 points in each tier, you may move down to the second tier of talents.

Here is a philosophy that Jadyn (39 Priest) has, I believe it is definately accurate:

"When it comes to talent specs, my personal philosophy for deciding on which talents to take is "functionality before statistics". By functionality, I mean things like range increases, duration increases, or extra functions (like stun procs or silence). By statistics, I mean things like damage, stat, or crit increases. A stereotypical example is getting Improved Gouge as a rogue instead of Malice (+crit%). The reason for this that theoretically, damage and stats and crit can be supplimented by gear and skill. But there is no item at 39 that increases the range of your Mind Flay by 4 yards, or decreases the cast time of your Mana Burn by a second."

7. General Priest Tips

Always keep buffs up when fighting against another dispeller.

There are three types of priest twinks you should aim to get item sets for, +Spell Power Set, Balanced Set, and Arena Regen Set.

Renew Can't Crit.

Always Keep Shadow Word:Pain On Your Enemy Target To Prevent From Bandaging.

You can not dispel Warrior Fears.

Bansil is on a distinguished road
there are some bracers from the instance in OG...Crystalline Cuffs -> 2/2stats 4spell power

Green Tinted Goggles -> also 15stats -> 7spirit instead of 7stam. not bad for a human priest in bgs/arena.
drop mining for ingi and get these and grenades...not too bad.

what about weapons?
blessed seer (spell power) / lorekeepers (FC) / emberstone (mixed stats) / twisted chanters (stam/int) / westfall, friar (regen)

i think glyph of renew/dispell magic are on par...it is all about playstyle

One thing i would change, you said as human with their 'Every Man for Themselves" Racial that they should skip Insignia, thats just plain wrong, having two snare removers is way better then 2% dodge.

This effect shares a cooldown with other similar effects.
Doesn't hurt to actually read the abilities...
