50-59 Blackout EU + Mage Q's :o

I'm considering knocking my mage up to the next stage, 50-59. Why? Because you guys seem to adore this bracket and I do wanna try it for myself. I was going for Conqurer title but I'm getting rather bored at 8/12k AB rep.

So does anyone here play @ 59 on blackout EU?

And on a more general note, How are 59 mages, Both frost and fire? Competitive or cannon fodder?

Thanks for the replies

I just registered here, but I play at 59 on Blackout. It's a good battlegroup, queues are always short alliance side.

Mages, twinked well, are very, very good in this bracket. Good frost mages annihalate me 1v1 (warrior ), and fire has extreme dps.

transfer to Bloodscalp, fire mages do alot of damage, if u join our server and roll with bunch of other twinks u can do alot od damge, as for 1 vs 1 yea twink warriors would pwn u if they get charge off, but still get warrior down to half health easy...

fire spec that is... frost spec... boring kite, reinforcements will arrive before u can kite but for flag carrier its not bad

Both Frost and Fire are totally viable specs in 59. I haven't had a single problem with dps'ing down a target as frost, often taking out a flag carrier with their healer set to focus solo. Dying is nearly impossible if you are good at reading the field and beatin feet to the leaf hut. Typically I will have multiple flag caps and returns, with 0-2 deaths per game, along with top 1-2 dps (chartslol).

Mine:

<Mal%27Ganis: Pistol>

For a Fire mage, check:

<Ysera: Recidivist>
