Looking for some advice from the twink Druids out there.
1. Should I go standard healing talents 1/0/19 and give up the ability to do DPS.
2. Or go 20/0/0 (boomkin) with healing gear and just throw HoT and give up on the non IC heals.
3. Or go 1/19/0 and DPS in feral mode, like the cheap imitation Rogue that I am..
4. Reroll a pally. (actually I have a 29 pally and I really wanny run and heal at the same time.
Thanks.
Allyours (pally), Odor(lock), Elftoy(rogue), Mistborn(huntard) all 29 on Hellscream and ALL Horde of course
Slashdotorg(priest) 19 Hellscream
soon to be Laleche Illidan 29 Drood

In my opinion, it all depends on what you want out of your twink.
I play my druid as full balance spec, with a balanced spelldamage / int / stam gear.
And it is FUN. Very fun!
<eu-Boulderfist: Wuff> is my baby <3
Howver, I'm aware that some elements of my spec is inefficient. I can slap on stam gear, and FC decently - Dash is nice and I can shift out of snares - But i'm nothing on a feral speced druid.
I can heal fine in healing gear, but lacking the 30% dispell talents means in serious games need to rely a lot on big heals instead of hots unless I can get the priest wasting mana dispelling rank1s early enough...
As as a 29 balance druid I can put out a ****LOAD of DPS, while I have mana. I generally beat rogues, and often beat hunters @ damage done when I carry drinks. If you aren't able to get in enough drinks in the bg, your reduced to autoatk and the off insect swarm / rejuv...
I've tried other specs, and decided that whilst being superior - They can be boring [Unless flag / heal - botting is your passion >.>] as ****.
I found the most
useful druid build was feral specced and healing geared, this optimises your role as a support CC and healer. Feral charge is awesome at any level, charge, bash and stomp is very often enough cc to get killing blow on the dps in arena and feral swiftness gives you an un manaburn/drain-able travel form.
For best results i'd suggest a gear and talent setup similar to that Scara plays with -

However i'd suggest points in Natural Shapeshifter instead of Sharpened Claws. As trying to improve 29 druid feral DPS is like spraying air freshener aroud a rubbish tip. With that build you're pure support...
