If you happen to be horde and can find a willing shaman, waterwalk is very nice as well.

Just make sure you fish next to grom gol coast with the tigers, basilisks, and raptors. They cannot enter the water.

I don't have coordinates, since the patch kinda screwed it up... but my areas are on the east coastline. There are some ruins with some undead mobs.

-A little south of those ruins will be the most northern spot I go to.

-Going south you will pass by a giant level 55 I believe, and it is possible to run by without getting hit, if you stick close to the wall.

- Keep going south along the coast. There's only maybe two fishing spots where you could aggro near the bloodsail pirates, and even then it shouldn't kill you. Just don't fish there.

- There is a little island a off of the coast that can have a pool. This is generally as far as you're going to go before turning back around.

Along this path, guessing off of the top of my head there's probably ~11 fishing spots where you shouldn't aggro at all.

Tried my luck this past sunday, and met up with more horde and alliance than usual. And the fact that the pools stopped spawning about a half an hour too early Only got 48 Tastys. *sigh*

Edit - Forgot to mention, that if you do die, either by ganking or mobs, you're very close to the graveyard in comparison to almost any other fishing areas.

Those are pretty good descriptions, added them to the guide. I will make a little map, and if you don't mind I will probably send it to you for confirmation, if not I'll still add it as a kind of "around here" type thing. Of course, if you would supply a little map, that'd be even better, and probably more accurate. Thanks again.

I PM'ed you a map. But I thank my guild leader, really. When I was new to it all, I said I might need people to guard me, and he told me there were safe spots along the east coast. After he told me, I just thought most people knew about it :P

Just wanted to give a big thanks for the guide. I set out on the adventure last night of leveling up my fishing to 150 to be able to have a chance at this hat and got it there about 2 hours before the comp started. Once 2pm came around I found myself and about 10 other people *2 other twinks* chasing around the schools of tastyfish and they spawned up and down the coast. Someone mentioned in general that they got the keefer fish and i was a little discouraged as I had died a few times. But I kept on fishing and three schools later I got the fish. This was my first time fishing down there and it was alot of fun.

yojamba isle blows. from what i see ive been here an hour and only one pool has spawned.. i shared it with a rogue too. well thats 1 hour for 2 tastyfish ill stick with the wild shore

I did the contest today on Yojamba and it was great. Lots of spawns. I shared many of the schools with a ?? Troll Hunter and still had plenty left. No Keefer's though

Today's Yojambe sucked. Too few was actually fishing(christmass?) so pools didnt respawned.
Well, moved along the coast, had a good catch =)
