Pwn Depot/BG Forums Signing Off

Sad to see The PWN Depot shutting down. Can't one of the trusted and active members here take over the admin role and get the domain, plus database? Hosting is cheap as dirt these days, so moving to a new host if need be shouldn't be a big problem. I'm sure many of the folks here (including me) would chip in a few $ to help the transition.

If transferring The PWN Depot to new hands is not an option, is there an alternative place to go, or should a new community (website) be set up?

Sad to see PwnDepot closing down, been reading/posting on the website for a long time. I meet alot of friends and learned alot from this website. I'd just like to say thanks for keeping it up so long and all the effort of the admin/bloggers.

Its a very sad set of circumstances... When things are better for you will there be a chance of a PWN Depot revival in the future?

I'd like to take the chance firstly to thank Comicus for the great work done on the site over the years. The effort put in by yourself and the moderators is whats kept this site going through the years and put it miles above the competition (Competiton? What competition!).

I'd also like to thank fellow architects for contributing some fantastic guides to the site, No doubt they've helped many people over the years (Myself included) to get the most out of our characters.

Also like to thank a few members individually for helping me... Huge respect goes to Twoblasted, No 29 have I played with do I admire more than you. Your control of a mage is iconic. More love goes to Jurugar, Who I havent seen post in a while but hey! Some respect has to go to Doffe for the help you gave me with my 39 rogue back in the day, And the countless other great advice you've given me and others over the years. Finally to pow... Yeah you quitter, The only other real twinker on Bladefist and you left for irl. And charging me 600g for LotV? Wtf was that!

Anyway PWN will be missed... If you wanna hit me up sometime just contact me on Bladefist-EU Psyence/Subterranean

Enjoyed this forums since it started, I feel pretty sad now because now I can't watch Pwndepot forums anymore :/ Always when I had been bored I've always went to Pwndepot and checked out some cool threads about every bracket ...

Well, thx for having this legendary twink site for such along time. much respect from me.

Just wanted to publicly thank you, Comicus, for a home for some great discussion, and for the opportunity to create the shaman guide. And thank you everyone, who introduced me to a new side of WoW I never knew or understood before.

Am a bit sad to see it go down, but everything has a end at some point and guess this it for pwndepot.
